The Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner
The Mulliner division will celebrate Bentley's 100th anniversary next year with a Mulsanne special edition. It pays homage to the company's founder father, W.O. Bentley and includes a portion of one of his personal cars.
The special model that can be purchased on either the long or regular wheelbase Mulsanne or Mulsanne Speed, was inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. was using as his personal vehicle. The influence of the car can be seen throughout the cabin which includes the Mulliner illuminated cocktail cabinet with an opening window that shows a piece of the original crankshaft of the 8 Litre display inside.
W.O. is emblazoned in an air vent in the shape of a B on the chrome application across the back of the vehicle. the car's signature front grille, a front grille that is modeled following the 1930s-inspired Onyx color of the limited edition, and an optional chrome-colored application that wraps around the lower spoilers to the left and right. The front grille is also a distinct design, featuring a chrome-colored mesh replacing the body-color mesh of the Mulsanne. It also has the Flying B Logo.
The key box is embossed with Bentley wings and features a black flock lining. Individual key pouches can be purchased to complement or contrast the key box. The set is commemorative and includes the scale model in 1:18 and an air-borne "B" paperweight. The set also comes with a printed booklet featuring never-before seen images of the original Bentley 8 Litre.
The Bentley Wing Key Box

The key fob's knurling, which is metal-to-metal mimics the textures of the interior, including the seat temperature controls and the shift knob. "We wanted the knurling to be as consistent and elegant as we could," says Van Braekel. "It was also important to keep the fob with a distinct size and shape."
Bentley Mulliner customers can specify any color from the Bentley portfolio for their Bacalar, as well as any combination of hides, veneers or bespoke embroidery. Around 400,000 stitches are Bentley's signature diamond-indiamond quilting across the entire cabin, and the mood lighting can be adjusted to suit a range of different moods.
Standard outside are illuminated treadplates and brushed silver clocks and new 22in wheels with self-leveling Bentley logos. Customers can also request a custom Bentley logo laser-etched onto the rear fixing to pay homage to the 1930 8 Litre W.O. Edition that inspired the car. The Bentley Wing Key Pouches
Bentley's "Speed" series is very entertaining and takes the Continental GT's exaggerated extravagance and turns it up to eleven. But it's not just about the fanciful exterior or the additional appetizers and hors d'oeuvres. There's also the mechanical improvements that include a redesigned air suspension and stiffer steering that makes the car less floppy than what you'd think of in a car of this size.
As you would expect from a British luxury brand manufacturing of Bentley cars is done at Crewe. The factory is fully integrated. All aspects of car design, engineering and manufacturing are all on the same place. The main building is known as CW1 House and is home to the Bentley Boutique, which sells more than 130 items from the Bentley Collection range.

Employees are responsible for properly managing their department keys and must not transfer or loan them to anyone else. If a person is found to be possessing a Bentley University key that they are not authorized to own, the person may be liable for disciplinary action all the way to termination from employment.
